“Signs of Spring” Plant Walk

EXPLORE THE WOODS IN EARLY SPRING
Celebrate the first days of spring by exploring South Mountain Reservation! On this guided nature walk with NPSNJ naturalists, we will hike to Hemlock Falls through a pine and hardwood forest, identifying trees along the way and looking for early native spring flowers like Skunk Cabbage, Spring Beauty, and Trout Lily.
We will meet at the Tulip Springs Parking Lot. Then we will walk about 1.5 miles round trip on mostly flat dirt trails. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing proper footwear!
