Jersey-Friendly garden at the Ocean County Soil Conservation District.

Speakers: Karen Walzer and Becky Laboy

Do you reside in the Barnegat Bay watershed (Ocean County or certain areas of Monmouth County)? If you do, please join us for a special webinar to learn about the Jersey-Friendly Yards Resident Certification Program, and how you can get your yard certified. The Jersey-Friendly Yards Resident Certification Program encourages healthy landscaping for a healthy environment. Learn how you can utilize the Jersey-Friendly Yards website and use native plants to create a yard or garden that builds a healthy foundation of soil, conserves water, and attracts wildlife. We’ll show you how to apply for certification. Currently, this new program is focusing on Barnegat Bay watershed residents only. (Schools and municipalities in the watershed are also eligible for certification.) Future goals of the program include expanding certification statewide.

For questions, please contact .

You are invited to a Zoom webinar.

When: Feb 23, 2023 07:00 AM Eastern Time (US and Canada)
