We often forget how crucial late fall, winter, and early spring care of our garden spaces is to overwintering creatures large and small. Randi will discuss how (and where!) wildlife overwinters in our gardens, and how to manage our spaces to support and protect the creatures we attract to our gardens through all twelve months of the year.

Dr. Randi Eckel, President of NPSNJ, has been variously studying, photographing, propagating, and literally immersed in native plants for over 35 years, spreading awareness of ecology and land stewardship through garden lectures, articles, and her native plant nursery Toadshade Wildflower Farm.
