Volunteer at Hudson’s New Imagine Garden

Join the Hudson County Chapter, in partnership with Mayor Mike Gonnelli and the Secaucus Environmental Department.
Kim Correro, Dawn Giambalvo and Lauren Morse, students in the Rutgers Environmental Stewardship class of 2022, along with Lorraine Freeney, are excited to welcome volunteers on Monday, June 13th from 5:00-8:00pm to help restore this grass parcel, across from Hudson Regional Hospital on Meadowlands
Parkway. Volunteers will help plant natives in three major areas of the new park that include a pollinator garden, sensory garden, and rain gardens.
The group has been in the planning stages for several months with the Secaucus Environmental Director Jennifer Schneider and recently started work with Senior Landscape Architect Philip Wolf of Remington & Vernick.
Refreshments will be provided by 3 MOM’s Catering.
