Viewing Spring Ephemerals along the Appalachian Trail

April 28 @ 10:00 am 12:00 pm

There’s an area of the Appalachian Trail along the NY-NJ border that absolutely bursts with native spring ephemerals in late April and early May. Join the Bergen-Passaic chapter for a walk along the trail to view trilliums, Dutchman’s breeches, yellow violets, columbine, saxifrage, and many other native species in the wild. (Disclaimer: we won’t know in advance which species will be in bloom.)
