The Ecology of Native Plants

February 15 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm

UPDATE – Registration closed due to overwhelming demand

Jason Goldman, of Flower to the People, will take you along on a celebration of native plant ecology. Together we’ll take a deep dive into the science of flowers, trees, bees, butterflies, and birds. You’ll walk away from this engaging presentation with a greater appreciation for the wonderful world around us.

Aways fascinated by nature since he was a child, Jason, who was born and raised in Central New Jersey, has an Ecology degree from Rutgers University. He currently works as a Park Naturalist for the Monmouth County Park System. In 2022, he also started Flower to the People, a garden design company specializing in native plants. Jason looks at every site with an eye for wonder and an excitement to see what native plants will thrive there.

The presentation is in collaboration with the Native Plant Society – Monmouth Chapter and Wild About Atlantic Highlands, a group dedicated to educating the public on the importance of bringing native, pollinator friendly yards to the borough of Atlantic Highlands.

Free and open to the public.

We hope you’ll join us!
