Tamarack Hollow Preserve Walk

We will have a nature walk in Tamarack Hollow Preserve, a Middlesex County Park. It has sandy soils (the area is cretaceous) and has a large colony of mountain laurel. The area is mostly shaded and the path wide. We will focus on plant anomalies, interactions with insects, with fungi, etc.).

Please take all recommended precautions regarding ticks (tuck trousers into socks; use bug spray; stay in the paths; after the walk, shower and put clothes into laundry, etc.).
