Owl Prowl with Naturalist Cam Kanterman

Learn about the owls of New Jersey and the native trees they depend on.
Let’s head out to the woods for a guided evening walk with naturalist Cam Kanterman in search of owls and other nighttime wildlife. Cam will teach you how to develop your night vision while listening for owls in their natural habitat. Owls we may encounter include the Screech, Great Horned, or Barred Owl. We never know what we’ll hear or see, but participants will learn a lot and have a great walk. This event is FREE and open to all ages. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. Advanced registration is required. Maximum capacity is 25 people.
Attendees wear boots or hiking shoes and consider a walking stick as the trails are likely muddy in some areas. Flashlights or headlamps will be helpful.
