Monmouth Chapter Meeting: Wonderful World of Moths

Learn all about the fascinating world of moths! We’ll start with a presentation by Paul Mandala, Monmouth County Park System Naturalist, that will introduce the different families of moths. You’ll learn about the main differences between moths and butterflies, and identify some of the plants that are necessary for moths to survive.

After that, we’ll go outside to explore the park and look for moths at night. Paul will help us find and identify moths as they are attracted by our flashlights.

Please bring a flashlight or/and a headlamp. Only a limited supply of lights will be available from our naturalist.
