Join us for a Garden Tour followed by a Plant Walk, at the Forest Resource Education Center (FREC) in Jackson, on Friday, July 29 starting at 5:30pm. Naturalist Jane Mattson will showcase the native plants growing in the perennial garden outside the Nature Center, followed by a Plant Walk that meanders down to the banks the Toms River, which flows through the property. We will see a variety of native plants that grow in both dry and moist sandy soil. These natives would be well-suited for planting in yards and gardens that share these soil, moisture and light conditions. This 1-2 hour tour will take place on Friday, June 29, starting at 5:30pm. Meet us at: Forest Resource Education Center, 495 Don Connor Blvd., Jackson, NJ 08527. Please RSVP to and let us know you are coming. We hope to see you there!
