Hudson County Chapter Mini-Grants

It’s here! #HudsonGives 2024 and part of our mission of the NPSNJ Hudson County Chapter is to help others to plant native plants and educate our community about the vital role these plants play in our environment.

We are now accepting submissions from local Hudson County volunteer organizations, schools, individuals and groups working to create pollinator gardens and wildlife habitat in open community gardens and public green spaces. Our chapter will choose up to ten groups to join our 2024 #HudsonGives campaign.  Following the event the NPSNJ Hudson County Chapter will support the local projects by advising on native species and providing plants.

Submit your application here!

#HudsonGives is a 24-hour, online fundraising campaign and competition on May 9th, 2024 that unites the community in support of local causes.

Hudson County Chapter

Hello from the Hudson County Chapter!

The Hudson County Chapter of the Native Plant Society of New Jersey is dedicated to supporting a healthy ecosystem and sustaining urban wildlife habitats within our diverse communities. Our hope is to help educate and empower our neighbors about how important native plants are to maintaining biodiversity.

We host events (both in person and virtual) that generate interest and wonder about native plants, insects, birds, pollinators and other local wildlife. Together we will discover and enjoy the fascinating nature within our own backyards, parks, and trails.

Please support our events on social media, share our information with your friends in Hudson County, and come explore with us. If you have an idea for an event, please reach out to us at .
