Winter Sowing Workshop

Winter sowing is an easy, low-cost method to add more native plants to your garden. In this free workshop, we’ll explain stratification, scarification, growing containers, over-winter care and transplanting seedlings. 

Thanksgiving to New Years is the perfect time to winter sow seeds. No grow lights, heat mats or fans needed! 

We’ll provide seeds, soil and pots for you to sow and take home. 

Essex Chapter steering committee members Phaedra Singelis & Jessica Miller will be your Winter Sowing hosts.
