Some of New Jersey’s most popular trees are under siege from climate change, diseases, and pests. It’s time for a change! Join us for a look at trees that stand up well to environmental insults, including native trees that are beautiful, healthy, and sustainable in the home landscape. We will also discuss invasive trees and how to make sure your home landscape isn’t part of a growing environmental problem.
Dr. Bill Errickson is the Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent and County Extension Department Head for Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Monmouth County. His work focuses on supporting the New Jersey nursery and landscape industries in their efforts to improve biodiversity and conserve natural resources through ecological management practices.
