Spring Plant Walk

EXPLORE THE WOODS IN EARLY SPRING
Celebrate the first days of spring by exploring South Mountain Reservation! On this guided nature walk with NPSNJ naturalists, we will hike to Turtle Back Rock through a mixed oat forest, identifying trees along the way and looking for signs of early spring, like Violets, Spring Beauties, and Sedges.
We will walk about 1 mile round trip, on gently sloping dirt trails that can be rocky. Please come dressed for muddy trails and the weather!
You may want to bring hiking poles.
Rain date April 6th.
