Sussex Chapter Spring Ephemerals Program on Zoom

Lynn Groves, Staff Naturalist at Kittatinny Valley State Park, will present a program on “Spring Ephemerals: They’re Not Just Pretty Faces”. Join us on Thursday, March 16 at 7pm for this timely program.
Lynn will be leading a field trip for us on Saturday, April 15 at 10 am at the park to view some of those spring beauties. Lynn has presented more than 2,000 educational programs at KVSP on topics ranging from snowshoeing to sustainability. She is a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and a Rutgers Master Gardener. Recently, she became certified as a Forest Bathing Trail Facilitator to introduce this popular sensory awareness activity to park patrons. Lynn sets up hikes and activities, such as the “Hike-to-Happy Hour” series, the “Wednesday Walkers,” and “Winter Tree Identification.” We are fortunate to have her with us to share her expertise.
