Small Spaces, Big Impact: Native Plants in Containers

April 20 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm

Caroline McFarland, Stewardship Specialist, Barnegat Bay Partnership, will be presenting on a topic that touches on the interests of many of us: gardening in containers and other small spaces.

You can maximize your ecological impact in even the smallest footprints. Caroline will explore how to use native plants in containers and tight spaces to create vibrant, low-maintenance yards that align with Jersey-Friendly Yards principles. Learn to select the right species for your garden and transform your space into a thriving habitat for local pollinators.

She will also answer your questions, live and in-person.

Come join us!

Directions: For our classroom meetings this spring, we are back in Stockton’s Unified Science Center but now on the first floor – in Room 160. See the campus map below. The closest parking spots are in Lots #4 and #5, which share the same entry off Vera King Farris Drive, the main drive on campus. Parking Lot #5 is made easy to spot by the mural of two ospreys on the Sports Center wall.
