This program is limited to 20 NPS members only.
Get hands-on experience in saving seeds from native plants. Seed saving is a great way to grow your own native plants whether you scatter the seeds in different areas or use them for winter sowing. This skill can drastically reduce the cost of using native plants in your landscape. This program will be outdoors in Titusville, NJ.
After this program, you will be able to
- identify various seed pods
- extract seeds from native plants
- properly store seed
