Protect Pollinators, Leave the Leaves

Join Hudson NPSNJ, Wild Ones NJ Gateway Chapter, and the Hudson County Improvement Authority on Sunday 9.28 from
2 pm to 4 pm for a “Leave the Leaves” event!
We’ll be a the RCE Learning Garden in Lincoln Park
(near Communipaw and 440)
Learn how to protect pollinators by leaving leaf litter and stems in your ward over winter so that butterflies, bees, moths, and fireflies have a place to shelter during cold months.
Entomologist Dr. Kelly Zimmerman will be on hand to provide fascinating info on our insect friends.
We’ll have light refreshments, seed packets, plants, and yard signs to give away. Plus kid crafts and more!
