Native Plants and Permaculture: An Ideal Marriage with Jason and Deborah DeSalvo

April 15 @ 7:00 pm 8:30 pm

Permaculture, or to provide the simplest definition, “permanent agriculture,” is a form of agriculture that creates ecosystems using perennial plants. It is intended to be self-sustaining, and ideally tries to mimic nature. Jason and Deborah DeSalvo, owners of Cold Brook Farm in Tewksbury, NJ, will discuss their permaculture homestead and the role of native plants in that portion of their farm’s production.
