It is Native Meadow Day at Unami Park! Take a guided tour of the park and the new meadows. Let us tell you about the ongoing re-forestation and re-wilding project. Visitors are also welcome to join the Unami Forest People and other community volunteers who will be working in the established meadows. We will be weeding and layering organic mulch to eradicate invasive plants and inventory natives planted in Fall ’25.
Wear long pants, boots, and garden gloves. Bring a water bottle, tick spray, a Hori Hori or your favorite weeding tool. Tools for spreading mulch will be provided.
