Morris Chapter Mixer
April 25 @ 9:15 am – 11:30 am

Lee and Sue of the Rockaway Valley Garden Club will lead members on a tour of the Emilie Hammond Wildflower Trail at 9:30. Please arrived at 9:15am. Afterwards, we invite members to stay for our first chapter plant swamp. The trail surface is uneven and may be slippery; please wear appropriate footwear. Please also bring your own mug for refreshments. Rain or shine.
Plant Swap Guidelines:
To prevent spreading invasive jumping worms, we ask that you only bring bareroot plants to trade. Thoroughly wash the roots to remove all the soil, as it may harbor eggs. To keep plants hydrated, wrap the roots in damp paper towels and wrap this in plastic or put in a plastic bag.
How to Get There:
Enter Tourne Park via McCaffery Lane. Go about 100 yards past the big parking lot on the right and you’ll see a small two-car parking area on your right with a gate. Park and enter the gate.
To come in the other end, start at the ballfield parking lot. Cross the road and go up a few steps past the restrooms to a major trail. This is the Overlook trail. Turn right and follow the trail a short distance to the entry gate to the Wildflower Trail. You’ll be approaching from the left edge of this map.
This is a members only event.
