Little Silver Home Garden Tour

Join us as we visit the Little Silver garden of NPSNJ Monmouth Steering Committee member, Laura Deykerhoff. Purchased in 2001, this one-acre property was once a blank canvas of turf grass. The site now boasts a series of gardens that take advantage of different micro-climates, including full and partial sun, deep shade, and a wet area backing up to native marshland. The gardens are a good example of a homeowner transitioning to a focus on natives and the evolution of spaces over time.
