Landing Zones – Beauty and Ecology Under Native Trees

Presentation by Kim Rowe, Chapter Leader, NPSNJ Monmouth

Co-sponsored by Red Bank Patchwork for Wildlife

You can create beautiful garden habitats in the dry shade under your biggest trees and under new trees, too. Soft landing zones are critical to the life cycle of moths, butterflies, beneficial insects and birds, not to mention the trees themselves. Learn how to design safe spaces and shelter for insects while nurturing your trees and reducing yard maintenance.

The Monmouth County Library provides meeting space as a community service. The Library neither sponsors nor endorses this event, the speaker(s) or the organization.
