Hudson Chapter Winter Sowing Workshop

Join Hudson NPSNJ and Canco Park Conservancy to sow native plant seeds that will create habitat for our birds, bees, and butterflies.

Wash and save your milk jugs or large plastic salad containers. We’ll provide the rest.

Winter sowing in containers creates mini greenhouses so you can start seeds earlier before planting in spring.

We’ll have a variety of seeds, including Blue Vervain, Wild Bergamot, Common Milkweed, and MORE! You can bring your native plant seeds if you prefer.

Coffee, snacks, and chit chat for the first half hour. We’ll move indoors if weather dictates but plan to bundle up and be outside.
