We are happy to have Melissa Ingala speak about “Getting to know your local Bats.”
Dr. Melissa Ingala is an Assistant Professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University who has studied North and South American bats for more than 10 years. Her research focuses on how gut bacteria shape the ecology of bat hosts. She is a naturalist who enjoys birdwatching, gardening, and appreciating the beauty of nature in all its forms.
