Come join us for an engaging program that will give you that answer and much more, presented by Kathleen Kerwin of Rutgers University’s Wildlife Conservation and Management Program. You’ll learn why bats are good for the environment, what’s unique about bat biology, which nine bat species are found in New Jersey, what threats bats face, and common myths surrounding bats. Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn about these fascinating yet misunderstood creatures.
Kathleen Kerwin, M.S. received her B.S. and M.S. in Ecology, Evolution and Natural Resources from Rutgers University in 2012 and 2014, respectively. She has a strong background in wildlife monitoring and management with project experience throughout the United States. Kathleen joined the Wildlife Conservation and Management Program in 2015, and her responsibilities include program management, development of educational programs, and delivery of extension services.
