Easy-to-Grow Native Plants

Bergen-Passaic has been happy to provide some guidance to a Ramsey High School senior who is working on her Girl Scout Gold award. Her project is a native plant garden and seed library at the Ramsey Public Library. In coordination, chapter co-leader Elaine Silverstein will give an introductory talk about native plants, “Easy-to-Grow Native Plants,” at the library on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 7:00 p.m., and we will hold our annual seed swap there on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 2:00. (See the separate event specifically about the seed swap.) We also hope to present a seed sowing workshop during the winter.
