Designing a Small Native Garden Workshop

Description: In this workshop, taught by native plant garden designer Christine Black, you will learn the basics of designing a garden with native plants and have a chance to design your own native plant garden to take with you. Come prepared with the measurements and a photo of a real garden space you would like to design, or we can create an imaginary space together. This is a basic workshop proving anyone can design a small garden space. No need for experience. No need for lots of tools or color pencils.
Supplies Provided: 3-4 sheets of graph paper (8-1/2 x 11″), pencil, large eraser, ruler
Bio: Christine Black is a native plant garden designer located in NJ. Gardening exclusively with native plants at her Burlington County home for the past decade, she started her small design business, Grow Native Gardens, in order to share her knowledge and love of native plants with others and to help her clients add native plants to their own landscapes.
