At the July 2024 Native Plants Festival in the Meadowlands,
we gave away seedlings of 10 different native species
from seeds collected in fall 2023.

Please note the following important information:

You may also bring flats or plastic produce containers or other types of containers to trade or give away. We will give a brief talk on sowing native seeds and caring for the seedlings.

To attend, email for the address. Do not reply to Bergen-Passaic. You will receive an email with the address of the event the day before.

You do not have to bring seeds in order to take seeds.

All seeds donated should be native plants and pure species. Do not bring seeds of non-native plants or of cultivars. If you’re not sure, label the seeds carefully with as much information as you have.

Do not collect seeds in the wild or from private property without permission.
